I love American candied sweet potatoes, so I am very excited to try this Daigakuimo. Adding black sesame seeds sounds so tasty! By the way, do you have any plans to release a second cookbook? 🙂

I made the hokkaido potato mochi last week and I really loved it ^^
Btw, how long can I keep nori sheets? as I don't use them very often they become softer and darker. I tried them like that and nothing wrong happened, but I'm not sure if I should use them after some time

Would this recipe be good with Western sweet potatoes? Maybe it can work since they are also sweet!

Would this work with regular salt instead of soy sauce? I'm allergic to soy.
