Great video. If you want to know more about vegan pregancies, look up Ellen Fischer on Youtube, she has just given birth to her third vegan baby and she is a mine of information and just absolutely glows and exudes healthiness as does her entire family, hubby and beautiful kids.

This was a very educational video, but I would love to hear about breastfeeding while vegan. How long to breastfeed? What to eat and not to eat (more in depth)?

Hi new subbie here so I am making my rounds in all your videos. I know this is a bit older video, but your guest mentioned that her son Liam had food sensitivities.. I am just curious if you know if that begin after his vaccination (was he vaccinated when born?). Thx 🙂

There's a great article from Dr. John MacDougall about plant-based pregnancy. Apparently vegan women almost never have Preeclampsia anyway.

    here;s the link!

Hey Jenné! great video, really helpful 🙂 I am transitioning to a plantbased diet and I am pregnant,
I have done some research to cover the basics of a vegan diet, but I still have reservations when it comes to consuming soy products during pregnancy.Do you have any informations on the subject?

,,even if you hibernate during pregnancy us fine.. as long they do not overeat .. I barely ate when pregnant because 24/7 nausea and was skinny after labor – my child was super healthy – normal birth – and I only ate macrobiotic food since I could not tolerate meat/ sweets etc.

Is there a lot of reputable research on the benefits of a vegan pregnancy? I have read a lot to the contrary–that meat is NECESSARY for the baby's brain. I am a vegan, and trying to do the right thing when I am pregnant.

As a student Midwife I would be interested to know what the evidence is for a high protein diet in reducing the risk for pre eclampsia? Also a raised BP is only a symptom of pre eclampsia.

This video is encouraging…Since I've gotten pregnant, I've been eating whatever I can stomach (not always plant based, not always healthy, not always a full meal)… I was purely plant based before becoming preggers but the first weeks are tough when it comes to eating/appetite. But as the weeks go on, I find myself picking up my best eating habits again. The good is I haven't strayed too far but I still take it one meal at a time (sometimes one bite at a time).
    Thank you for this!

Soy, cow milk, wheat, and nuts (except almonds, walnuts, and brazilnuts) are acid based… keep baby on a true alkaline diet and it will help a whole lot. They love coconut water!!
