    hey Lily, thanks so much for the informative video on omega-3s. I thought the only thing I really had to supplement was B12 but I'm now convinced as well that adding an omega-3 supplement will be a safe bet. based on your recommendations, I will be picking up a bottle of the Nature's Way liquid version 🙂 thanks again and hope Petoons gets better x

    Hi Lilykoi, I absolutely love your videos. They r my favorite and I watch them over and over again. I've been doing a whole lot of research on Eating Disorders(E.D.) and Whole Food Plant Based(W.F.P.B.) vegan life styles. I'm a 59 yr. old lady in my 11th month of recovery. And bcuz of all the research and all the videos I've watched(Knowledge is powerful), I've never relapsed. I've gained 78 lbs from my last average of 79 lbs. I'm 5'4" and have a small frame. The # on the scale doesn't bother me as much as the inches I've gained. In 1 of your videos u show a pic of u at your highest wt. Well I'm way bigger and fatter. I look obese, NO EXAGGERATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My waist is 40 inches. I'm afraid to c how big the rest of me is. My boobs r as big as Dolly Parton's (NO EXAGGERATION.) & they hurt. I was in my E.D. 4 17+ yrs. Actually off and on since I was 16 or 17 yrs old. It wasn't til my early 40s that I started losing wt. w/o trying so hard. I got down to my goal wt. of 115. I wish I would have stayed there. But when I became disabled starting in Jan. 1st 2006 I dropped more wt w/o realizing it. But I liked what I saw in the mirror and It became an addiction. That is when my full blown E.D. started. While I weighed so little, it took pressure off my joints(I have sever Rheaumatoid Arthritis since '95). I had soooooo much energy and could move so freely. Now I have a very hard time doing many things cuz the fat is in the way. I REALLY NEED TO KNOW HOW LONG YOUR HIGHEST WT. PLATEAUED B4 U STARTED LOSING WT. I JUST NEED AN IDEA. I KNOW EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT. PLEASE MAKE A VIDEO THAT ADDRESSES THIS OR REPLY TO ME AT bonie333@cox.net. I know u r very busy, but I would sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo very much appreciate it. Please keep making videos. I'm DESPERATE 4 a reply or a video addressing this.

    Just subscribed. Binge watching your videos and loving it but I have to say your explanation about omega-3 let me more confused than I was before watching it and that was because you didn't tackle at all the amount of DHA, EPA or ALA you're taking and why. You didn't link a single study clarifying algae DHA and EPA supplementation. I was so hopeful for this video because they're usually so well substantiated and objective but this one just let me even more confused about an already nebulous subject.

    I have not watched youtube for a while and its nice to get back to vegan videos. However, I cannot even concentrate on the video content because I am so concerned about Lily’s face. I find it disturbing how skinny she looks and do not find it healthy in my own opinion.

    You are by far my favorite youtuber and by far one of the most educated!! I don't know if you have a degree in this, but if not the world needs more vegan, plant based, holistic dietitions and/or Dr.'s so I encourge you to go for it if you haven't already. 😉 Such great information and I have learned so much from you! I also love how hilarious and extremely transparent you are about your struggles with your family. Girl, you are not a lone there! I'm happy to hear Petunia has recovered.

    This was such a great reminder about Omega 3s! I tried the Nested product a while back and I still have quite a few left, but for some reason it caused horrible bloating and gas. I take it this didn't happen to you? I will perhaps try the liquid version that you talk about here. Thanks so much for awesome info and I hope your sweet doggy feels better soon!!

    Can you please make a video with a list of what essentials you keep in your kitchen for a beginning, well balanced, vegan pantry? Either all together or broken into segments like main ingredients, condiments, easy items, produce, bulk dry items, and/or herbs spices and seasonings? I have gotten way off track due to being in school for a year and my kitchen is bare!

    hey lily, I just totally love all your videos, especially "The Sexy Tablespoon" They r sooooo entertaining as well as educational. How long did u platoe at your highest wt. of 155 lbs b4 losing any wt.? I'm also 5'4" and I weigh closest to your highest wt. I've been in recovery from an E.D. for almost 10 months. I look a whole lot heavier than u did at your highest wt. I've been diagnosed w/severe Rheaumatoid Arthritis 4 24 years now. I'm unable to do any of the yoga exercises, Becuz my fat gets in the way. My waist is about 40 inches and I'm just huge all over, no exaggeration, seriously. My boobs r almost the size of Dolly Parton's. My bras r all soooooo very uncomfortable. During my 15 years of E.D. I was almost completely flat. I was very comfortable in my skin. I weighted between 75 and 85 lbs. I also had tons of energy and was able to do yoga and run circles around others. I was very hyper. I'm a 59 yr old lady. I want to be able to do yoga and heavy weight lifting. That is my goal. I've been a whole food plant based vegan except for unflavored gelatin. I'm hooked on my gelatin treats I make which r mostly blueberries, chia seeds and Irish sea moss. I eat maybe 2 serving per day. Is there any hope 4 m to lose this excess wt.? I'm desperate 4 encouragement.
