Soup, for me, is one of the ultimate comfort foods. But what’s your favourite comfort food? We’re thinking of creating a “classic comfort foods” recipe video sometime in the new year 😀

This is gorgeous! I love the beetroot soup with the sweet potatoes. I made it with real veggies instead of boullion cubes, because hey, they are still processed…Just a little bit more peeling and chopping. 😉

A tip to anyone about peeling garlic – crush it with the wide side of a knife then peel. The skin just falls off.

Hi! I really admire your wonderful site and I enjoy your amazing recipes! I just would like to draw your attention regarding the use of canned tomatoes. Due to the lining of the cans and their interaction with the acidity of tomatoes, it's developed a toxic substance for your health, which can lead in time to develop Alzheimer. My Mum cooked for many years with this kind of canned tomatoes and my father ended up with Alzheimer. I am an alternative therapist and I should suggest you to use tomatoes preserved in glass jars and not even those are good due to the preservatives! Try using fresh tomatoes instead or better, make your own canned ones in glass bottles, just with salt and boiled in Bain Marie. Lots of love, Diana
