I’ve never seen rice cakes except for the puffed ones. How and where do you get them?

yea it looks so unreal… Especially when you see her weekly food videos… I can't help myself but to think that something there is very wrong… How can she eat so much and not gain any weight? It's just impossible… For the whole time I am questioning if she has an eating disorder… like bulimia for example or something else like not specified eating disorder… It just sounds so unreal….

But yeah, if you want to prove me otherwise I would appreciate an honest video about her real activity levels, food intake, caloric needs and if she fullfills them… —

My parents who are vegetarian i.e. no meat, eggs
Discourage me from going Vegan when all I did was to quit dairy too
Its really sad and they make food so I watch vegan food channels to feel like I have someone to eat with and that there is actually really delicious Vegan food.
Also I love Chinese and Korean food thus I love this channel

Love this channel, but I'm not sure why people want to hear slurping/eating, I liked the cook part, then left, I'm not a mukbang person I guess.

Hotdogs in this seem odd.I could be wrong but I i would imagine that tofu would have been the more standard choice.

When you said, “obviously you know better because you’re vegan.”
This plays into people believing that you’re better than them… which was honestly something very hard for me to come to terms with. I would say certain things with no intention of offending anyone, and I had to backtrack and apologize because I did offend. I realized what I said, did sound like I thought I was better… so I learned to just keep it to myself. I struggled with identifying with myself because I thought I was acting like a self righteous asshole.
Although, I think the moral stance of the vegan collective is making a lot of conscious decisions… that are beyond themselves and for the concern of others. Which is super important and one of the greatest things you can do. And it can be done in so many ways outside of veganism too! I don’t think any individual is better than anyone else because we all have good and bad traits.. we are human after all.
I ate meat for the larger part of my life and before veganism stuck for me, I’ve tried before and failed. I knew about the horrors of the world and still ate meat. I do think I know better now.. but that thought is just something I keep to myself.
When I first went vegan, I would try to force people into learning about it, judge, and debate. I made veganism my entire identity at one point because I was just so proud of myself. I was incredibly passionate and I wanted everyone to know what I was doing. This is just something that I think comes naturally, but eventually it gets better and you learn to navigate through all of this. I never really mentioned I was vegan when people didn’t ask me, but like clv, I never really even say that word. I just mention the things I don’t eat.
I have a couple of years under my belt now and I’ve definitely learned a lot about finding my place and what makes me and others around me the most comfortable. Its really all a learning process.
Anyway, what we are doing is super important. And never let someones fragile ego make you feel bad for doing something so great. Just think of veganism like a secret club and let people find their own way into it. If they’re curious, share what you know. If not, leave it be and just try not to explode when you really wanna say something. Good thing we have the internet because i’d probably go crazy without the advice from others.

I could care less what anyone thinks. Usually just roll my eyes at them. Just say you do you & I’ll do me. I was vegetarian for 20 years now vegan 10. My husband isn’t vegan or children but they do eat my vegan food. I still cook non vegan for them but they are probably 70% vegan I’m ok with that.
