    i made the plantain lasagna and omfg!😭😭😭😭🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽i used behind meat “beef crumbles” (American-georgia) and this dish is sooooo hearty and filling!!!
    i calculated this to fit my calories and it came out to 636 per serving(4 servings)
    will be a go to for me

    Not sure if anyone has already commented this but you should try to make a dominican dish called Yaroa! The omni version is mashed plantains, shredded chicken or ground beef, ketchup and mayo with a thick layer of mozzarella on top. I’m sure you can find a way to veganize it though. You impress me every time!

    My mom use to call these fritters "cucarachitas". She made them, but with cilantro, garlic powder and salt. It's such a Caribbean thing… Happy to see it though 💕👍🏻💞🥰Gracias!!!

    Gaz… to keep with the theme… the pastelon is not "spectacular" … it's "rico!" Or "delicioso" 😋😛 I'm Puerto Rican and I can't wait to try your recipe. One change I would make, though, is using our traditional "sofrito" which is a blend of peppers and herbs like aji dulce, cilantro, green bell pepper, cilantro (also called long coriander), garlic. My mouth is watering, just thinking about it. Plus! I would add Spanish Olives to the mince as well. 😋😛
